Oatmeal Molasses Cookies

As part of my quest to try new recipes in 2012, I went to my cookbook shelf looking for a new cookie recipe. We were having a staff meeting, and what better way to experiment with a new cookie recipe than to feed them to your co-workers.  In all my years of doing this, no-one has complained. 🙂

Cherry Chocolate Toffee Cookie

I love this time of year, as you get to sample a lot of baked goods in the office kitchen 🙂  There is nothing better than your co-workers coming in with a tray of goodies that they have prepared on the weekend, it really brings a nice holiday vibe to the office.

Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies (Or “What happens when bacon and chocolate do it”)

The role of today’s food blogger will be played by Connie’s husband, Jamie.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Jamie and I spent 6 hours in a car yesterday, and when we got home, I really wanted something sweet and salty.  Well, the best combination to satisfy that craving is made with Peanut Butter and Chocolate.

Country Tea Biscuits

One of the benefits of growing up in the country is that we never learned of the horrors of white flour and carbohydrates until much later in life 🙂

Farmhouse White Bread

One of my fondest food memories of my Grandma is her Homemade White Bread!  My Grandma used to make dozens of loaves at a time and distribute them among the family.  When I would step off the school bus I could smell the bread from the driveway!  Yummy!  Warm, homemade white bread topped with butter and brown sugar…delicious.  It is also fabulous toasted with butter.
